1992: Work started on the first Pagani prototype sports car.
1994: Mercedes agreed to supply V12 engines.
1999: The Zonda C12 was shown at the Geneva Motor Show.
2011: Pagani revealed the Huayra (AMG twin-turbo 6-litre V12), successor to the Pagani Zonda.
2021: The Huayru's successor forecast to arrive for 2023.
2022 September 13: The Pagani 'Utopia' was unveiled at Italy's National Science & Technology Museum in Milan, 6-litre twin-turbo V12 (Mercedes AMG), 635kW at 6000rpm, 7-speed manual or auto.
