Marshall LandRovers
1996: Marshall Specialist Vehicles (Cambridge UK) won a contract from the British MOD to build from 600 to 1100 field ambulances. The winning ambulance was an eXtra Duty, i.e. uprated, LandRover Defender XD130.

The LandRover beat Steyr's Pinzgauer for the ambulance contract although the latter had earlier replaced the LandRover 101.
