1919: Alvis was founded by T. G. John.
1965: Rover
took over Alvis.
1967: Alvis ceased making cars. Alvis continued to make
military
armoured vehicles as part of British Leyland.
1968: 'Red Triangle' was formed to
provide parts for Alvis cars.
2009: Red Triangle acquired the Alvis cars name.
2021: The 'Alvis Car Company'
began making "continuation" models –
coupe, cabriolet or drop-head coupe.
