1961: Carroll Shelby suggested the use of a Ford V8 in the Ace leading to the AC 'Cobra'.

2012: There were reports that AC Cars would return to the UK and an AC '378 GT Zagato' was shown at the March 2012 Geneva Motor Show.

2023: A modern 'Cobra GT Roadster' was unveiled.
